Cantaritos grill restaurant located at 4326 Gilpin Cresent Burnaby, B.C., V5G 2K4, is looking for full – time Chef. The candidate should have 2 years of experience or a Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field.
Pay will be $25.00 per hour.
This is a permanent full-time position with 32 to 40 hours per week. We will also consider candidates who wish to work part-time only.
Some of the duties of the Chef are:
Estimate the amount and costs of supplies and food items
Estimate labour costs
Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
Prepare and cook food regularly or for special guests or functions.
Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions
