• Employer: Private Household
• Position: Child Caregiver – Private home
• Terms of Employment: Full-time / Permanent
• Location: Toronto, Ontario – Major Intersection: Eglinton Ave. & Brentcliffe Rd.
• Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week
• Language: English
• Salary: $17-$18 / hour
• Children's Ages : Toddler to pre-school (1 – 3 years), Kindergarten age (4 – 5 years), School age (6 – 12 years)

Duties:

• Sitting three children (8 years, 4 years and 2 years old) in employer's own residence;
• Bathe, dress and feed;
• May be required to keep special notes of daily activities and health information regarding the kids;
• Oversee children’s activities as instructed by employer;
• Caring for and maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home;
• Take children to and from school and to appointments;
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents,
• Tend to emotional well-being of children
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development,
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children,
• Help children with homework

Requirements:

• Previous child caregiving experience is an asset;
• Comfortable being around kids in multiple ages;
• Initiative, Organized, Reliability, Effective interpersonal skills
• Completion of High School required; and
• Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends, if needed.
• Criminal record check, Reference required
• Non-smoking Work site Environment

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
