Job Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and service a variety of household and commercial electronic equipment, including televisions, radios, VCRs, audio systems, photocopiers, computers, and related peripherals. Conduct diagnostic tests and performance inspections using electronic testing instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, circuit testers, and logic probes. Identify and pinpoint faults in circuits, components, and electronic systems to determine necessary repairs or replacements. Perform adjustments, alignments, and component replacements using technical manuals, schematics, and appropriate hand or power tools, including soldering equipment. Document service activities by completing work orders, test logs, and maintenance reports to ensure accurate records and quality control. May provide guidance or supervision to junior technicians and support staff in the repair and maintenance process.
