Job duties:

  • Initiate and enforce operational policies and procedures
  • Recruit, train, supervise and appraise staff
  • Manage and assign duties for supervisors
  • Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential
    and actual customers to understand service requirements.
  • Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale.
  • Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
  • Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
  • Oversee inventory by working closely with vendors
  • Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
  • Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
    Deal with customer queries and complaints
